In order to abolish prisons, strong social bonds, methods for conflict resolution and community self-defense are vitally important. RAM-NYC invites abolitionist groups and all those looking to build solidarity in their communities, to a public talk to looking at successful examples of conflict resolution and their potential role in prison abolition. This presentation will be a springboard for a discussion about different approaches to conflict resolution and the shared values that we can together put into place to make this vision a reality. We will follow with a group discussion.
